Être means purpose.

Être Patisserie are propel by creativity and the state of arts craftmanship. Our sole purpose
is to reinvent a traditional craft in order to offer a distinctive experience based on emotions and sensations.

Creation and aesthetics are at the heart of Être Patisserie's purpose. We are passionate for quality and excellent service.
Initiating a common ground that unites people all around the globe through the art of pastries and being an integral part of our daily lifestyle.

Etre's creation are unique. It provides a global sensory experience that combines all 5 senses, using the architecture of taste in
which each element has its meaning.

Through Être Patisserie, it continues to delight and inspire, creating not only a hub for extraordinary desserts, but also a close-knit community centered around shared values of craftsmanship, innovation, and the pursuit of dreams.

Our Chef

Ann Lee

Chef Ann, the visionary behind Être Patisserie, is recognized for her sophisticated approach to baking and her deep fondness for culinary excellence. Her journey began as a home baker before she pursued her dreams further, training at the prestigious Le Cordon Bleu in Paris, where she honed her skills and immersed herself in the art of French pastry.

After her training, she worked with renowned three-Michelin-starred restaurants such as Alain Ducasse, Joël Robuchon, and the Parisian pastry shop Pierre Hermé. She gained valuable experience from some of the best chefs in the world before returning home to start her own brand.

In 2019, she opened her first outlet in Ipoh, quickly gaining popularity and moving to a larger store. Chef Ann's creations are beautiful and perfectly tailored to Ipoh's tastes, incorporating fresh local ingredients. She created signature desserts representing Ipoh, such as a Pomelo, a Peanut, and an Ipoh White Coffee Tart, known as "Hometown."

In 2024, Chef Ann expanded Être Patisserie to Kuala Lumpur, continuing her journey of creating and innovating in the world of pastry.

Jacker

Chef Jacker's culinary journey is marked by a wealth of experience garnered from prestigious establishments around the globe.
With a background enriched by roles in esteemed hotels like the Carlton Hotel Singapore and renowned restaurants such as Butter Bread Singapore
and Habitat by Honeybee, Chef Jacker has honed his skills across various culinary landscapes.

His dedication and talent have earned him recognition, including the prestigious Singapore Bakery & Confectionary Championship 2017,
where he emerged victorious as an award-winning chef.
